In Round Rock ISD, data for passing scores show students performed above state average in 12 subjects and below state average in one subject, seventh-grade math. Forty-six percent of RRISD students scored ‘approaches grade level’ or higher on seventh-grade math in 2026, down from 43% in 2025, while the state average for 2026 was 48%.
Students saw equal or improved performance year-over-year in all exams except third-grade math, fifth-grade math, third-grade reading, and fourth-grade reading. Texas Education Commissioner Mike Morath stated, ‘The 2026 results demonstrate both the progress Texas students are making and the work that remains ahead of us.’ Families can access their student’s STAAR testing results at www.texasassessment.gov using their unique access code from the district.
