A team of social workers is keeping tabs on the elderly remotely, through the electronic bracelet, and is available to provide assistance and support as needed. The social workers also make daily calls to check in on the elderly and provide a friendly ear if they feel bored or lonely.

The scheme has been successful, with two emergencies already resolved through the use of the bracelet. The municipality hopes to expand the program and provide support to more elderly citizens in the future.
