The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) will be performing road striping work next week throughout the valley. Crews will be grinding off old markings and painting new stripes from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. for roughly one week.

Other areas that will get attention include most of WY22 and US89 from High School Road to the Grand Teton National Park boundary.
WYDOT said that driving over wet paint can reduce the reflectivity of the markings, and the paint can stick to vehicles. Due to Wyoming’s harsh winter conditions, painted lines on roadways can fade or be destroyed over time.
Drivers are advised to be aware of slower moving traffic and shadow vehicles and slow down accordingly. Drivers are urged to not follow striping trucks too closely and only pass when it is necessary and safe to do so.
