The fifth annual River Bowl Classic is coming back to Oklahoma City’s RiverSport, bringing the community together for a good cause. The family-friendly event brings rival schools together to compete for something bigger than a trophy.
A Reunion-Style Event
The reunion-style event brings alumni and students from Oklahoma City schools to get out on the water and compete for a cause. Organizers said the meaning is deeper than the water. The River Bowl was created to provide access to water sports and create a diverse and inclusive rowing community.
Exposure is everything. A lot of times, we just try to limit us sometimes. It may limit us to certain events, but why not get on the water and learn how to row? The River Bowl is from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday along the Oklahoma River. It is a free and family-friendly event.
