Riot Fest is hosting a community ticket registration and local hiring event for neighbors living near Douglass Park in Chicago. The event will take place on Thursday from noon-4 p.m. at Moreno’s Liquors, where neighbors can receive free three-day passes to the festival.
Eligibility and Registration
To be eligible for the free tickets, neighbors must live within a roughly half-mile radius of Douglass Park, which is bounded by Arthington Street to the north, Central Park Avenue to the west, 24th Street to the south, and Western Avenue to the east. Those looking to receive tickets must present one photo ID and two forms of proof of residency that show their name and current address.
Riot Fest will also be hosting a local hiring component at the event, where applicants can apply for jobs such as information services, set-up and tear-down, gate attendants, trash removal, and general staff and labor positions. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to stand for eight hours outdoors while working.
Festival Details
Riot Fest will take place from September 18-20 and will feature over 100 artists performing across multiple stages. Headliners include Twenty One Pilots, Tool, and Pierce The Veil, among others.
