A 26-year-old Rhode Island man has died after being thrown from his car in a two-vehicle crash in Uxbridge, Massachusetts, on Saturday. The crash occurred on Route 146 south around 10:48 a.m.
The driver of the Honda Accord, who has not been identified, was taken to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries. The driver and a passenger in the second vehicle, a Tesla, were also hospitalized but are expected to survive.
Route 146 south in the area was temporarily closed while investigators processed the scene. The scene was cleared and reopened around 2 a.m. The crash remains under investigation, state police said.
