Speaking with OutKick Dropkick, Mysterio said the upcoming Triplemania 34 Night 1 in Las Vegas feels like a full‑circle moment, recalling his debut at the very first Triplemania show in 1993.

AAA’s First Two‑Night Triplemania

Mysterio explained that AAA is staging its first ever two‑night Triplemania event. The opening night will be held at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Friday, with the second night scheduled for Sunday in Mexico City’s Arena CDMX. He highlighted the significance of the Las Vegas show, noting that it marks the promotion’s expansion into a major U.S. market.

Facing the 7‑Foot‑3 Omos

The main attraction is Mysterio’s bout against 7‑foot‑3 Omos, a towering opponent who was recently suspended after injuring fellow wrestler Galeno and attacking Mysterio in August. Omos returned as a paid spectator at the recent “Ola de Color” event and again targeted Mysterio with help from Dominik Mysterio.

Despite Omos’s size, Mysterio said the challenge does not intimidate him. “I’ve faced giants before,” he said. “I was the smallest kid in the class at eight years old, and I’ve always competed with bigger opponents. It doesn’t faze me. I’m motivated and ready to step into the ring.”

Authority and Consequences

As AAA’s GM, Mysterio stressed that no superstar or luchador will try to undermine his authority. He warned Omos that crossing the line will have serious repercussions. If Mysterio loses, Omos will be reinstated to the AAA roster; a victory for Mysterio means Omos will be barred from future AAA competition.
