ResortPass is a service that allows customers to buy day passes, spa passes, and pool passes to top-of-the-line hotels anywhere in the US. One user recently tried it in Nashville, booking a private cabana for six friends at the JW Marriott in downtown Nashville.
How it Works
ResortPass doesn’t require customers to pay any monthly or annual fee. To book a day pass, users simply put in their location and desired activity. Customers can choose from day passes, spas, or pool passes; once they’ve found the option they like, they can pay for it through the app. Passes start as low as $20.
The user was able to have prime viewing of the fireworks at the Marriott’s rooftop pool without even needing to be a guest at the five-star hotel. After checking in at the hotel, they were escorted to their private cabana where a complimentary fruit platter and water bottles were waiting for them.
Benefits of ResortPass
ResortPass can be useful for those looking for a ‘daycation,’ wanting to kill time before a long layover, or exploring somewhere new in their own city. The service allows users to experience the amenities of a luxury hotel without having to book a room.
For example, the user had previously used ResortPass while visiting Orlando with their family. They were able to go to Margaritaville for manicures and the Four Seasons for an afternoon of floating in the pool and cocktails.
ResortPass might not be the best option for those staying at an all-inclusive resort, but it can be a great way to try something new and discover other hotels around the city you’re visiting.
