A rescued beagle named Omelette has died after escaping his adopter’s yard in Wisconsin, according to Big Dog Ranch Rescue. The organization said Omelette escaped through his adopter’s fence on Sunday and was later found in a nearby canal.
Big Dog Ranch Rescue said he likely fell victim to an alligator attack. In a statement shared on social media, the rescue said, “After surviving a life of animal testing, he deserved a lifetime of safety, love and happiness. We are devastated that his story ended this way.”
