Rectangle Health Expands with New Office in St. Petersburg

Rectangle Health, a healthcare payments and technology solutions company based in New York, has expanded its operations by opening a new office in St. Petersburg, Florida. The facility, located at 100 Fountain Parkway N. in the Gateway area, will serve as a sales hub, as announced by company leaders.

Local Expansion and Community Integration

Scott LoPresti, the chief business officer of Rectangle Health, explained that the decision to open an office in St. Petersburg was driven by the area’s promising talent pool and a community eager for job growth. The office currently houses over 40 employees and has the capacity to accommodate up to 100 team members. The company has been actively recruiting local individuals since the beginning of the year.

Rectangle Health’s new office will primarily be used by sales development representatives and practice solutions consultants. These teams are responsible for setting appointments and working directly with small to medium-sized healthcare practices.

Strategic Location and Future Plans

The choice of St. Petersburg also aligns with Rectangle Health’s partnership with Zelis, another healthcare payment company with a presence in the area. The shared time zone was a crucial factor in the decision-making process. Previously, Rectangle Health had a second office in Las Vegas, which was closed in favor of expanding to St. Petersburg.

Founded in 1993, Rectangle Health supports a wide range of healthcare organizations, including dental, chiropractic, vision, and physical therapy practices. The company’s platforms are utilized by over 36,000 healthcare providers and approximately 160,000 software users. Their products include the Practice Management Bridge software and PayerSync, which automates virtual payer payments.

Looking ahead, Rectangle Health executives plan to host business gatherings in St. Petersburg, with some dental healthcare events already on the calendar. A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new office is scheduled for June 8, with St. Petersburg Mayor Ken Welch and representatives from the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce expected to attend.
