Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay stated that there is no ‘invisible deadline’ for former star defensive tackle Aaron Donald to decide whether he will come out of retirement and rejoin the team.
Aaron Donald’s Decision
McVay expressed his hope that Donald makes a decision ‘sooner than later.’ Donald, 35, spent his entire 10-year NFL career with the Rams before retiring in March 2024. He recently joined the team for a workout on August 5 as he considers a return to the gridiron.
McVay emphasized that he does not want to put any unnecessary pressure on Donald. The Rams acquired star defensive end Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns in the offseason, which has sparked Donald’s interest in returning to the team.
