Racing Louisville FC kicked off the second half of its season with a 4-0 loss at the Portland Thorns on Sunday night. Portland scored three times in the first half.
Racing Louisville FC head coach Bev Yanez said, ‘There’s things that we have to dive into… Of course we’re displeased with the scoreline. Of course we’re displeased with the results. But it’s a very difficult one for me because I don’t think the scoreline fully is a reflection of today’s group’s performance.’
The loss drops Racing to 2-9-1 this season. They return home on Friday night, hosting Bay FC at 8 p.m. at Lynn Family Stadium.
