Fort Worth residents who love live music now have a new, intimate venue right in the heart of the city. Printed Threads, the screen‑printing business that has supplied merch for local acts like the Toadies and Grady Spencer & the Work for more than 16 years, has launched Showroom Sounds, a series of exclusive listening experiences held in its own showroom.
Community‑focused concerts
“Each show takes place in Printed Threads’ showroom and features one of our favorite artists,” said Alan Brown, vice president of sales and marketing. With a limited number of tickets each night, attendees enjoy an up‑close, personal performance that feels more like a private gathering than a typical club show.
Brown explained that the series grew out of the company’s core value of cultivating a creative community. “When we moved to our current Fort Worth location in 2020, the space immediately showed potential for a music series,” he said. “We hope to provide a positive environment for people to come together and share the arts.”
More than just a concert
Tickets include more than a seat at the show. Guests receive access to food and drinks thoughtfully curated in‑house to complement the night’s experience. Brown noted, “It’s so special when a person buys a ticket for an artist they were not familiar with, and then leaves that night after the show having found a new favorite.”
Printed Threads aims to extend its commitment to quality and community beyond screen printing. “We hope to provide a curated experience for all that attend Showroom Sounds, the same as we do for all Printed Threads customers,” Brown added.
