A power outage was impacting more than 22,500 customers in the southern part of Orange County on Wednesday night, according to San Diego Gas and Electric.
The outage started at around 8:50 p.m. and was affecting several communities, including Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano, the public utility company said.
SDG&E said power was expected to be restored by around 11:30 p.m. The cause of the outage is under investigation.
