Port St. Lucie city leaders are set to vote on a proposal to transfer city land to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for the construction of a new interchange on the turnpike at Midway Road.
Project Details
The project, which has already been approved, includes the construction of new ramps and a noise wall to limit the impact on nearby residents. According to the city, the project will not cost taxpayers.
A public hearing will be held before the vote during the city council meeting. The land transfer is necessary for FDOT to proceed with the construction of the interchange.
