The 25th annual Virgil Christian Tribute Polo Match is set to take place at Oxmoor Farm, celebrating the history of polo in Louisville. The event will benefit Maryhurst, Kentucky’s oldest child welfare nonprofit, which assists children and teen trauma victims.
Supporting Local Families
According to Maryhurst’s Jasmin Embers, events like the polo match go a long way in helping them support local families. ‘All the donations that we raised from all of our events go right back into our programs for our youth and our families,’ Embers said.
The event will start at 4 p.m., with the polo match beginning at 5 p.m. There will also be pony rides for children, and the night will end with fireworks. The proceeds from the event will be donated to Maryhurst, helping them to continue their work in supporting local families and children in need.
