The website was designed to eliminate the need for players to dig through social media posts to find information about local meetups and events. It provides a centralized location for players to connect with each other, stay informed about upcoming events, and navigate Spring Lake Park.
The website maps various points of interest in the park, including PokeStops, gyms, and other in-game stops. It also provides access to the community’s social media pages, a code of conduct, and information about the PoGo TXK community.
Ebel developed the website himself, with the goal of creating a permanent home for the community that anyone can access at any time. The website is free and open to everyone, regardless of their level of experience with Pokémon GO.
