Construction on a 22-story high-rise and townhomes is set to begin in June at the former JCPenney headquarters in Plano, Texas. The new facility, known as The Parks at Legacy West, will feature 261 high-rise residences with one, two, and three-bedroom options, as well as three 3-bedroom townhomes.
Residence Features
The residences will include gas stoves, smart-home technology, kitchen islands, walk-in pantries, large closets, wine refrigerators, and powder baths. Some homes will also come with fireplaces, balconies, outdoor living spaces, and private yards.
The project is being developed by StreetLights Residential, a Dallas-based development company. The company has projects in multiple states, including Texas, California, and Florida, and focuses primarily on multifamily residences.
Plano City Council approved mixed-use development for the 107-acre lot in November 2024. The estimated completion date for the project is February 2029.
