Plane Crash In Jessamine County

Jessamine County Sheriff Kevin Grimes reported a small aircraft crashed near Nicholasville Saturday morning. Numerous calls regarding the plane crash near KY 169 began coming in around 8:45 a.m.

Officers gained entry to a farm in the area and located the crashed plane. The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the crash, which involved a CA9-WB, a six-seat, single-engine aircraft.
