September’s lineup includes “First Amendment Day” on September 9, a program that underscores the importance of free speech, press, religion and assembly – core freedoms that the Constitution guarantees and that many local faith communities cherish.

The Center encourages schools, churches and civic groups to attend, offering free or low‑cost admission for students and families. Interactive stations let participants draft their own amendments, try on period clothing and hear stories of Philadelphia’s contributions to the nation’s founding.
