A person was shot during a carjacking in Philadelphia’s Parkside section Monday morning. The incident occurred around 7 am near 51st and Master streets.
According to police, the victim was struck by gunfire in the chest and was taken to the hospital in stable condition. The victim, who has a permit to carry, did return fire. The suspects got away in a stolen blue Volvo.
