A person was seriously hurt after falling from a vehicle in South Boston on Sunday night. The incident occurred near Carson Beach, with Massachusetts State Police responding to the scene at William Day Boulevard and Babe Ruth Park Drive just before 8:30 p.m.
The female victim was taken to a Boston hospital for treatment of what are believed to be serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle was not on the scene when troopers arrived but later returned and was taken into custody. The charges they face are not yet clear.
