Miami-Dade court records show that the 48-year-old’s mother filed for temporary custody. An attorney representing the mother stated that the main concern is to protect the children and ensure they are safe.
Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, livestreamed what appeared to be self-harm from his Westchester home on August 4. The video, which was streamed on TikTok, showed Hilton covered in blood with visible cuts and holding a knife.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident and confirmed that Hilton was Baker Acted. His family released a statement saying he remains hospitalized in serious condition and has been stabilized, but his injuries will require surgery.
