Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is teaming up with a local yoga company to offer a unique experience that combines exercise with adoptable pets. The Puppy and Kitten Yoga Experience will take place Saturday, giving participants the chance to practice yoga alongside playful puppies and kittens looking for their forever homes.

Organizers say the event is designed to provide a fun and relaxing environment for both people and animals. The combination of yoga and adoptable pets has been shown to help reduce stress and bring smiles to participants. Peggy Adams will provide eight adoptable puppies and nine adoptable kittens for the two yoga classes.
Shelter leaders say they hope the event helps introduce more people to animals available for adoption and plan to partner on similar events in the future. The Puppy and Kitten Yoga Experience is one of several indoor activities being offered this summer as residents look for ways to stay active while avoiding South Florida’s hot temperatures.
