Pedigree Truck & Trailer Sales, the exclusive dealer of Prime Inc.’s used trucks and trailers, is expanding its presence in Springfield with a new dealership. The nearly 12,000-square-foot facility will be located at 2705 E. Diamond St., close to Prime’s headquarters, and is slated to open in October 2026, according to a company press release dated June 2.
This $7.9 million investment will replace Pedigree’s current operations at 2700 N. Packer Road. The new dealership will offer a two-bay indoor showroom, customer consultation areas, an in-house finance center, and a driver’s lounge equipped with a theater and charging stations. Additional amenities include complimentary driver showers and a merchandise area.
Pedigree, headquartered in Springfield, is one of the largest used commercial vehicle dealerships in the United States, with nearly 35,000 trucks and trailers sold and over $1.7 billion in lifetime sales. The dealership will feature 107 display spaces for trucks and trailers, with additional inventory available on the Prime Inc. property.
Robert Low, Founder and CEO of Prime Inc., emphasized the dealership’s focus on serving drivers and owner-operators, stating, “Drivers and owner-operators are who we serve, and we built this dealership around their comfort, their time, and a buying experience that reflects what they put into this work every day.”
Pedigree currently operates four dealerships across the country, with locations in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Utah, in addition to its Springfield headquarters.
