Player Performances

Kyle Williams, a wide receiver, impressed with his performance, including a great route and a nice throw from Tommy DeVito. Williams has been more of a straight-line player but showed an ability to put his foot in the ground, decelerate, and come back to the football.

Khalil Jacobs, a linebacker, finished with six tackles and was always in the middle of things, communicating before the snap and playing with energy and fire. Jacobs has said his approach to the game is simple: see ball, get ball, but there is more to his game than that.

Bradyn Swinson, an edge player, was a consistent presence throughout the second half and was disruptive. Swinson played a lot in the game and was quiet in the first half but made plays in the second half.

Andy Borregales, the Patriots’ kicker, missed three kicks, including a potential game-winner, and is under pressure now. Tommy DeVito, the quarterback, had an excellent touchdown drive and was efficient and accurate in moving the ball down the field.

The interior of the offensive line was a concern, with Ben Brown leaving the game due to an injury. Andrew Rupcich, who started the game at guard, also went down with an injury, and the position group is now even thinner.
