PARA’s beloved Grapes on the Green fundraiser is back for its 2026 edition, giving Tuscaloosa families a chance to enjoy a night of food, wine and entertainment while supporting the city’s recreation programs. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 22, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Iron & Ember, located within the Ol’ Colony Golf Complex.
Local restaurants showcase signature dishes
Eight beloved Tuscaloosa eateries will rotate through the venue, allowing guests to move from chef to chef and sample each restaurant’s standout plates paired with carefully selected wines. The lineup includes River, Southern Ale House, Billy’s Sports Grill, Jalapeños Downtown, The Sanctuary on 25th, TuscNY, Urban Bar & Kitchen, and Lost Pizza Co.
More than just a dinner
Beyond the culinary experience, attendees will enjoy live music, indoor golf simulators and a silent auction featuring items donated by local businesses. “Grapes on the Green is a celebration of food, community and innovation,” said PARA CEO Brian Davis, noting that the Iron & Ember facility provides an ideal setting to blend dining, recreation and entertainment.
Tickets and support
Tickets are priced at $250 per order and include admission for two guests. All proceeds, along with sponsorship contributions, will help PARA continue investing in recreational programs, facilities and community experiences throughout Tuscaloosa County.
Local businesses may also become event sponsors, and volunteers are welcome to assist with setup, service and the auction. For more information on purchasing tickets, becoming a sponsor or volunteering, visit PARA’s Grapes on the Green webpage.
The fundraiser was recognized as the 2024 ARPA Innovative Special Event of the Year, underscoring its impact on the community and its role in promoting local hospitality and recreation.
