Palm Beach County Fire Rescue responded to a suspicious odor at Palm Beach International Airport on Sunday afternoon. A spokesperson for Fire Rescue said its units responded to PBI at 3200 Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach on Sunday at 1 p.m. in reference to an investigation.
Fire Rescue received a report of a concerning smell from the area of the United Airlines ticket counter. When Fire Rescue personnel arrived at the scene, the smell was determined to be from a hydraulic oil leak.
Fire Rescue said the incident was mitigated and no further actions were needed.
