Renovation Plans
The renovations will focus on seating, sight lines, and audience experience, including new seats and improved sound quality. The historic nature of the building will be preserved, and the college that owns the building will also be replacing the roof. Wilborn is confident that the changes will make the Palladium an even more desirable venue for performers and audiences alike.
Wilborn also discussed his plans for the future, including writing a new book about the beach music scene in Treasure Island. He has already started the writing process and is excited to share the stories of the musicians and the community that has supported them over the years.
