The Green Bay Packers have started their training camp, with some rookies already working with the starters. Cornerback Brandon Cisse is practicing with the first team while Keisean Nixon is out with a hamstring injury. Jager Burton has shown coaches enough to use him as a swing interior lineman, though he had to step away from practice when he tweaked his hamstring.
Coaches’ Comments
Coach Matt LaFleur spent time talking about a trio of defensive players, including Zaire Franklin and Isaiah McDuffie. LaFleur also spoke about the progress of second-year wide receiver Savion Williams and the evolution of quarterback Jordan Love.
The Packers will practice at 10:30 Friday morning.
