OU Sooners Face Georgia in Men’s College World Series

The University of Oklahoma baseball team is set to face Georgia in the Men’s College World Series on Monday. The Sooners opened the series with a 9-0 victory over Alabama on Saturday, advancing to the winner’s bracket.

Game Details

The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Monday, June 15, at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska. It will be broadcast on ESPN and can be heard on 99.3 FM/1400 AM and 107.7 The Franchise. Tickets are available through the NCAA’s website.

The Sooners and Bulldogs did not face each other during the regular season in 2026. If the Sooners win, they will advance to the Men’s College World Series semifinals for the second time in five years. If they lose, they will face either Alabama or Texas on Tuesday.

Previous Game

In their opening game, the Sooners were explosive on offense and got a stellar start from Cord Rager. The left-handed freshman threw seven innings of three-hit ball while striking out eight. Deiten Lachance drove a bullet home run in the sixth and finished the game going 2-for-5 with the homer, two RBIs, and three runs.
