An interactive art exhibit in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is raising awareness about the importance of healthy tech use. The exhibit, called ‘More to the Story,’ is part of the SMART Social Project launched by the Women’s Fund of Oshkosh in January.
Encouraging Intentional Screentime
The exhibit features an interactive display that prompts visitors to reflect on their digital behaviors and how they use technology. Executive Director of the Women’s Fund, Karlene Grabner, explained that the goal is to get people thinking about their screentime and how it affects their lives.
The SMART Social Project is not anti-technology, but rather aims to encourage people to be more mindful of their tech use. Grabner noted that the project has received a positive response from the community, with many people expressing interest in continuing the activities beyond the initial planned duration.
