Oregon Housing and Community Services has invested in nearly 300 affordable homes across the state, including 222 rental units and 71 homes for purchase.
Affordable Housing Initiative
The Oregon Housing Stability Council recently approved funding for projects in Bend, Lincoln City, Phoenix, Roseburg, and Portland. In Bend, Thistle & Nest’s ‘Woodhaven Estates’ will create 38 affordable homeownership opportunities, including 6 accessible, energy-efficient homes.
The investments are designed to address different housing needs in both rural and urban communities.
