Orange County Deputies are investigating an incident that sent one man to the hospital after shots were fired in a neighborhood near Bithlo. Deputies say around 2:55 p.m., they responded to the 1700 block of Oak Grove Chase Drive regarding a shots-fired call. When they arrived, they were told a neighbor fired shots into a fence, causing pieces of the panel to scatter and strike the victim.
The victim was transported with non-life-threatening injuries. Deputies say an arrest has been made and there is no threat to the community.
