More than 7,400 Orange County mail ballots have the names of candidates in the county mayor and clerk of courts races printed in the incorrect order, according to the supervisor of elections.
Affected Ballots
The issue impacts 7,442 mail ballots out of around 550,000 ballots printed in total. The affected ballots do have each of the candidates listed, but the candidate order is switched.
The Supervisor of Elections office has accounted for 100% of the affected ballots, which will be tabulated in accordance with established election procedures.
Early voting began on Aug. 3 in Orange County, on Aug. 6 in Lake County, and on Aug. 8 in Brevard, Flagler, Marion, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia counties.
