Walt ‘Pops’ Stallings, the owner of One Stop Repair Shop in Camarillo and Santa Barbara, is celebrating his 86th birthday. Family and friends, including Piper Bill from Camarillo, decided to have a birthday party and Christmas in July celebration at the shop on De La Vina in Santa Barbara.
About One Stop Repair Shop
The shop is known for all kinds of items, from cowboy boots to Berkinstocks, and luxury bags. They also repair vacuums, sharpen knives, and more. Customers may know about the former Jedlica’s horse inside the One Stop Repair Shop, which can no longer fit outside the front door due to remodeling.
Stallings said, ‘I have a store in Santa Barbara and that sometimes I have problems and I have to go solve them, that makes me think and I can still function pretty much the way I did years ago which keeps the circulation going, and people identify with that and it gives them kind of a little bit of hope maybe and it gives me a little bit of hope too.’
