Las Vegas – The towering WWE talent Omos is set to return to the ring at Triplemania 34, the premier event of Mexico’s Lucha Libre promotion AAA, held Friday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Preparing for the showdown

In a recent interview with OutKick Dropkick, Omos explained that his stint in Japan with Pro Wrestling Noah helped ready him for the unique style of AAA. “Going out there, experiencing a new culture, speaking little‑to‑no Japanese but immersing myself in that wrestling culture, was a phenomenal experience,” he said.

After a brief run in Japan, Omos debuted at AAA’s Triplemania 33 last year, capturing the Bardahl Cup and establishing himself as a force in Mexican wrestling.

Earlier this month, Omos was suspended by AAA following an on‑stage eruption at Rey Mysterio, who also serves as the promotion’s general manager. The feud escalated when Omos appeared in the crowd as a paid spectator, only to become involved in the action.
