CASPER, WY — The Olivia Caldwell Foundation is once again opening its doors to adults for a night of prom‑style celebration. The annual Butterfly Ball, themed “Denim & Diamonds,” will take place Saturday, Jan. 30, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at an undisclosed venue in Casper.
Event details and ticket sales
Tickets go on sale Oct. 13. The evening promises dancing, drinks, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and the popular Prom King & Queen Competition, where the winning couple receives an all‑expense‑paid vacation.
VIP raffle for a luxury experience
For a limited time, the foundation is offering a raffle that gives guests a chance to win a true VIP experience for a group of ten. A $25 raffle ticket (or $100 for five tickets) enters participants for a package that includes limousine service to and from the event, pre‑event and event catering, a VIP entrance, exclusive happy‑hour access, a Monarch‑level table with two bottles of wine and bottle service, a deluxe swag bag, and a one‑night stay at the Hyatt Place.
Entries close at 11 a.m. on Oct. 9 and can be submitted online at www.oliviacaldwellfoundation.org.
Supporting pediatric cancer research and families
The Butterfly Ball is a cornerstone fundraiser for the foundation’s mission to fund life‑saving pediatric cancer research and programs for children battling serious illnesses throughout Wyoming and neighboring regions. Proceeds also bolster the Whole Family Support Program, which supplies resources to families navigating a child’s illness.
Community impact
By combining a nostalgic adult prom atmosphere with a charitable purpose, the event offers Casper residents a chance to enjoy a night of celebration while directly contributing to critical health initiatives. The foundation’s focus on research and family assistance aligns with the community’s values of caring for the most vulnerable and supporting local health efforts.
