The Olean Police Department will increase patrols in and around Lincoln Park and other areas where public safety concerns have been identified.
Olean Mayor Amy B. Sherburne announced in a press release that an Olean employee was menaced in the city employee parking area of Lincoln Park.
The City of Olean is also researching ordinances regarding unauthorized encampments to protect public spaces while complying with all laws.
