According to her nomination, Schulze consistently demonstrates the qualities that define excellence in nursing care, including a calming presence, patience, empathy, and genuine compassion. She is also recognized for her stamina and commitment to high-quality care, providing the same level of kindness and professionalism throughout her shift.

Schulze serves as a confident and dependable resource for her coworkers, fostering a supportive and positive work environment. She is a role model for new nurses, demonstrating clinical judgment, teamwork, and leadership skills. As a nurse, Schulze values the opportunity to care for patients in her community, having been raised in Olean and educated at Jamestown Community College and Daemen University.
