Approximately 95,000 customers in Oklahoma are without power after storms produced strong winds on Saturday night. The hardest-hit areas are Cleveland County and Oklahoma County, with over 28,000 customers affected in Cleveland County and over 13,000 in Oklahoma County.

Another 11,000 customers do not have power in Washington County. The storms moved through the state and Oklahoma City metro, canceling numerous fireworks shows and prompting severe thunderstorm warnings. KOCO 5 Meteorologist Joseph Neubauer reported 90 mph wind gusts when storms hit Norman.
The power outages are widespread, with other counties also affected, including Lincoln, Payne, and Pottawatomie. The Oklahoma City metro area has been particularly hard hit, with many residents left without electricity.
