Oklahoma Storm Chances

Oklahoma can expect off and on rain and storm chances this afternoon and through the weekend, according to KOCO 5 Meteorologist Mikayla Smith.

Weekend Forecast

The heat will start to ramp back up on Saturday, with storm chances increasing as the weekend progresses. Some areas in western Oklahoma are under a slight risk for storms, with a level two out of five risk in the panhandle.

Ponca City, Enid, and Clinton are under a level one out of five risk for this afternoon. Oklahoma City has a 30% chance of rain, with a slight drizzle expected. As the evening progresses, the risk of rain decreases in Oklahoma City but increases in areas closer to the Kansas state line.
