The Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame will induct its newest class, featuring six athletes who will have their names enshrined in the hall of fame. The Class of 2026 includes Sam Bradford, K.J. Kindler, Matt Holliday, and more.

Inductees

Sam Bradford is considered one of the most prolific passers in the University of Oklahoma’s history, starring for the Sooners from 2007 to 2009. He led OU to a Big 12 title during his redshirt freshman season and continued his success into the following season.

Emmett Hahn was a major contributor to the auto racing world as both a racer and a promoter. He founded and built the American Sprint Car Series and was instrumental in the creation of the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals.

Matt Holliday was a multi-sport star during his days at Stillwater High School, earning All-American honors in football and baseball. He chose baseball, amassing a 15-year MLB career with the Colorado Rockies, Oakland Athletics, St. Louis Cardinals, and New York Yankees.

K.J. Kindler has been the coach of the University of Oklahoma’s women’s gymnastics program since 2006. Under Kindler, OU has won eight national titles, ranking third in NCAA history.

Terry Miller played 34 college football games for the Oklahoma State Cowboys from 1974 to 1978. He was the only player in Oklahoma State football history to finish his career with three 1,000-yard rushing seasons.

Rod Shoate was a three-time All-America linebacker at the University of Oklahoma from 1972 to 1974. He was a consensus first-team All-American in 1973 and a unanimous first-team selection in 1974, when the Sooners won the program’s fourth Associated Press national title.
