Early voting is officially underway across Oklahoma for the upcoming federal, state, and county primary elections. The Oklahoma State Election Board announced that early voting locations are open Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Voters can also cast early ballots this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. ahead of the official election day on Tuesday.
Minimum Wage Ballot Question
In addition to choosing party nominees, voters will decide State Question 832. The ballot initiative asks voters whether to increase the state minimum wage from $7.25 per hour to $12 per hour in 2027, followed by gradual annual increases until it reaches $15 per hour in 2029. Future increases would then adjust based on the cost of living.
Regular polling places will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. All registered voters, regardless of political affiliation, are eligible to vote on the minimum wage ballot question.
