Oklahoma City’s first UFC event in nearly a decade became the highest-grossing in Paycom Center history, according to Mayor David Holt. The event, held at the Paycom Center, was a huge success, with UFC CEO Dana White confirming plans to return to Oklahoma City.

Diana Fletcher, executive director of the Oklahoma State Athletic Commission, attributed the success to the strong support from the community. Fletcher said that she and her deputy director had traveled to Las Vegas in March 2025 to meet with UFC officials and advocate for the organization’s return to Oklahoma.
Fletcher expressed her hopes for future events, including power-slapping competitions, saying the events benefit the local economy and the sport’s visibility. UFC CEO Dana White said, ‘Yeah, we’ll be back. We were talking to the head of the commission here tonight, and the crowd here is incredible, and I love this city,’
