Police in Oklahoma City and Midwest City investigated a series of crimes in the metro Thursday morning that resulted in two people being arrested. It started in the Village, when police said the suspects stole someone’s car. The suspects allegedly drove the stolen car to an apartment complex near NE 10th and Midwest Boulevard in Midwest City.
Police said one of the suspects shot an 18-year-old girl in the heel at that apartment complex before they took off. Officers were then able to track down the suspects to north Oklahoma City because of a phone that was left in the car. A chase ended near Hefner and Western near a gas station.
Police said two of three suspects were caught. They are 16 and 18 years old. The third suspect is still on the run.
