The Oklahoma City Comets are hosting free car seat checks ahead of their Family Sunday matchup against the El Paso Chihuahuas. The team is partnering with the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office and Safe Kids Oklahoma for the event.
Event Details
Certified technicians will be on hand to help install car seats and booster seats for concerned families. They will also check any seats already installed in a family’s car. The event is happening from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Joe Carter parking lot, on the northeast corner of the intersection of Joe Carter Avenue and Reno Avenue.
Opening pitch between the Comets and Chihuahuas is set for 1:05 p.m. Sunday. Fans can get player autographs on the concourse before the game, and kids can run the bases when the game is finished.
