As the school year begins in Oklahoma, several superintendents from districts in the Oklahoma City metro area sat down with KOCO 5 Anchor Abigail Ogle to discuss some of the most pressing issues. Students, parents, and school staff will see several changes, including added recess time and the implementation of the Bell to Bell No Cell policy in all Oklahoma schools.
Superintendents’ Roundtable Discussion
The superintendents who participated in the roundtable discussion were Dudley Darrow with Enid Public Schools, Jamie Polk with Oklahoma City Public Schools, Rick Cobb with Mid-Del Public Schools, Cecilia J. Robinson-Woods with Millwood Public Schools, Kenny Rodrequez with Putnam City Public Schools, Josh Delich with Edmond Public Schools, and Keith Sinor with Yukon Public Schools. They also discussed the possibility of achieving the ‘Mississippi Miracle,’ which could improve Oklahoma’s nationwide ranking in education, safety, and more.
