The bridge over Stamp Creek along Stamp Creek Road in Oconee County will be closed for rehabilitation work starting July 7, the state Department of Transportation announced July 1.
As part of the work, crews will replace part of the bridge deck to extend the structure’s service life. Depending on weather, the work is expected to be complete by July 17.
Drivers are encouraged to follow posted detour signs and be aware of work crews while driving through the area.
