Norway is set to take on Senegal in their second 2026 FIFA World Cup match of the tournament on Monday night at New York New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Several hours before the whistle blew on the pitch, Norwegian fans flocked to Times Square in the heart of New York City to give their squad a proper sendoff.

Hundreds of Norway fans performed the ‘Viking Row’ to offer proper support of their nation’s best soccer players.

Norway’s Chances

Norway enters the Group I match in first place after a resounding win over Iraq. The team has yet to play France in the group stage, which will come in its finale.

Senegal head coach Pepe Thiaw said that being able to keep Norway at bay starts with neutralizing soccer star Erling Haaland.
